A few days ago, Grupo Itera established its Advisory Council to strengthen its growth and transformation strategy with the integration of national and international experts in technology and business.
Itera’s vision is to continue to grow as one of the leading providers of high value-added cloud services. The new Council, made up of independent experts, will contribute to the achievement of this vision.
The variety of professional profiles of the external directors of this Advisory Council, as well as their training respectively in engineering, physics, economics and administration; It will help offer a global and local vision of the different markets in which Itera operates, strengthening its vision of growth and transformation.

Francisco Ibáñez
Chair – external director
he is a consultant with 33 years of experience in business valuation, strategic consulting and financial structuring of investment projects at PwC. He led the consulting practice on strategy, technology, operational transformation, and M&A, primarily in the financial, consumer, healthcare, and industrial sectors. Currently, he accompanies companies in the process of designing and managing high-impact advisory councils, being an independent director and chair from companies from different sectors.
Francisco is an economist and has an MBA, both from ITAM, and a graduate of IPADE’s AD-2 program.
Desmond Mullarkey
External director
Distinguished leader in the digital industry with more than 25 years of experience. He is currently Stripe’s Chief Growth Officer in Latin America. He was previously president and CEO of SAP Mexico, also holding senior management positions at Oracle and Hyperion Solutions.
Desmond holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Cork and completed postgraduate studies in Spanish at Dublin City University.
Diego Segre
External director
He is an IT executive with 30 years of experience in senior management positions at IBM worldwide. Among the most notable positions he has held are the integration of the Lotus, Tivoli and Rational acquisitions in Latin America, the management of the software business in Europe and Latin America, and the management of the Business Partner ecosystem for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Diego is an industrial engineer from the University of Buenos Aires.
Rogelio Velasco
External director
With more than 30 years of experience in the information and communications technology industry. He has been CEO of companies such as Digital Equipment, Lucent Technologies, Siemens, Electronic Data Systems, Dell Technologies, and Cisco Systems. He is currently an independent director of companies in the financial sector and investment funds in infrastructure and technology.
Rogelio has a degree in Physics from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and an MBA from Florida International University.
