The challenge:

The reduction of costs of communication environments in the different accounts on which the institution works was the main challenge to carry out a Well-Architected Review (WAR). A diagnosis whose objective is to optimize your cloud infrastructure.

To do this, our specialists focused on the pillars of Cost Optimization and Operational Excellence. They also worked on the Safety pillar to strengthen existing mechanisms and strengthen preventive maintenance.

What did we do?:

In order to achieve this efficiency and cost reduction, our specialists carried out a systematic analysis on the configuration of the AWS network services used in all accounts belonging to Universitas XXI.

This analysis also covered shared services, connectivity between environments, as well as the different particular uses per account, according to the need of the operation. The use of the Well-Architected Framework (WAF) structured framework made it possible to identify opportunities for improvement (remediation) that are currently being implemented.

A secure workload that will strengthen business continuity.
More robust security mechanisms.
Guarantees for the necessary access to the different resources.
A more streamlined process for audit compliance.
Economically: significant savings in network services, as well as a 29% reduction in communications costs.
From a performance perspective: a 30% improvement in the increase in load management capacity is estimated.
Available sources that allow monitoring and alerting about network resources in order to take timely corrective actions.
