Comfama, an organization committed to social transformation in Antioquia, needed to modernize its technological infrastructure. With the leadership of ITERA and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Support, managed to migrate its critical APIs to a more robust and efficient cloud platform. As a result, it streamlined its operations and strengthened its technology foundations for sustainable growth.

THE CHALLENGE

Comfama faced the challenge of updating its technological infrastructure to ensure more agile, secure and scalable services. Its main challenges included:

Outdated technologies that limited efficiency and scalability.
Slow response times that affected the user experience.
Complex integration that required consolidating components under a single supplier.

The goal was to migrate their critical APIs to a modern platform that would streamline operation and reduce costs.

WHAT WE DID

We lead the planning and execution of the project. A custom architecture that centralized and optimized critical configurations using key AWS services, such as:

Amazon API Gateway: For secure API management.
AWS Lambda: To run serverless processes.
Amazon Cognito: For user authentication.
Elastic Load Balancers: To ensure availability and distribute traffic.

The process included the migration of critical APIs and the optimization of processes, achieving a more efficient integration and a smooth transition.
